We put on Cole’s blue hat and round him around the yard around sunset and told him it was erasing the blue sky and that’s how it turned into night.
I thought he was trying to get close with me when I realized he was rubbing his hat up and down the side of my head.
Guess who?

Cole figured out what Halloween was all about and decided he didn’t want to be a giraffe.
He walked around the house for the better part of 8 hours with his hand up to his ear and babbled away. I didn’t get it at first, even though it was quite obvious. Who else could possibly sit on the phone for over 8 hours?
I think I even saw him use call waiting…
Gee, sorry, he likes Halloween

I didn’t think it was such a big deal asking the pediatrician if there was anything we could do to elongate his neck for the costume.
We can easily find a new pediatrician. It’s not like this was the first time we were ever kicked out of a practice.
He overreacted

We have been telling Cole – “Step on a crack and break your mother’s back” for a little over six months seeing if he would catch on. So, this time, we went outside and when he stepped on the crack, Jamie fell down in front of him and started screaming at the top of her lungs.
He was still standing like this even after the neighbors and cops left. I am afraid at this point that he has no sense of humor at all.

I guess putting your kid in the recycling bin and leaving him out on recycling day requires a visit from the police. Who knew?
At least he saw the humor.

Some people get hooked on gambling. Others get hooked on alcohol.
On the bright side, my biggest concern is only salmonella.

At a picnic we were attending, Cole threw his beads at one of the little girls in the group and proceeded to stare at her for the next five minutes. This can’t lead to anything good.
