Going all New Ringgold.
May 2nd
Like most babies, Cole likes a car ride. He especially liked the hour and a half trip to New Ringgold (a certain uncle should note the two “g”s in “Ringgold)to meet his great grand mom for the first time. He was content all day. I think he liked all the attention he was receiving from the extended family. We also found one of the tiny saddles I used as a kid to ride the pigs we had on the farm. He is just the right size!
I’m tired after a long day.

…maybe this dog won’t hurt me. Cole’s cousin Lucas got him a dog-dog as a gift. We have been using as a training tool to make him fearful of dogs so that we can utilize one for babysitting purposes. The only issue we see is that Killer (our pit bull) doesn’t have opposable thumbs to give Cole his bottle.
Post-Tully Dose of Relaxation

As much as the last post showed his distaste for water, he is now a much happier baby with the recent decision to switch out the water for the Tully. I think the proof is in his look of contentment immediately after one of his most recent baths. The missus says we only have to bathe him once ever 2-3 days, but I think we should bathe him at least 3 times a day.
Pre-Tully Dose of Reality

I think a lot of the posts here might suggest that the wee one is always a happy one. Well, that’s not the case. This is a shot of our hapless hero in one of his water based baths and a lot of the reason behind out change to the Tully as not only our beverage of choice, but also our bathwater of choice. I think I would have a happy expression if someone was bathing me…
Milk=Good. Water=Bad.

Cole Powers is not one for the bath. He apparently doesn’t like water — or maybe the soap. Our options were limited so we are now bathing Cole in Tullamore Dew. This has been working like a charm. Not only does he stay relaxed through the whole thing, but he also goes right to sleep after we are done. It is also nice because it’s no longer a two step process like soap and water.
