I went to check on Cole in the middle of the night and was startled to not find him in his crib — when I heard the door creaking open.
After a firm reprimand for being out so late, I carried him up the steps to his room — but he wouldn’t let go of the bag when I tried to take it from him. After a half hour of fighting, I let him keep it.
When I went in this morning, the bag was nowhere to be seen and Cole was sitting silently in his crib waiting for me. I am a bit concerned since we haven’t seen Hobbes all day but nothing else has happened since.
Zombie Cole

By the time I got to him, he had chewed through his crib wall, eaten the plastic car driver and surrounded a scared squirrel outside.
Luckily, I got to him before the villagers.
What a Natural

We are reenacting The Natural with Cole playing the role of Roy Hobbs. We are at the part where Roy strikes out The Whammer — beautiful sunny day where nothing matters but baseball.
Boy, I hope nothing bad happens to ol’ Roy.
Cheapest toy ever

We told Cole that we got him a very expensive toy that he would need to be very careful with so that he didn’t break it. Cole, meet your brand new air guitar. He has been playing it nonstop, which is great. Next year he is getting some air drums.
Hulk angry

We’re not sure why it started, but now Cole likes to spend most mornings screaming at the squirrels on our deck. I thought it was out of anger at first, but they come around every morning now and wait until he goes out. At first, there were only a couple, but now there are at least 6.
This can’t be good.
Cole needs a friend

…..In what we figure was a show of solidarity for the cat after his visit to the vet, Cole climbed into the pet carrier with a mug and closed the gate. He rapped that mug back and forth for two hours before he finally passed out.
It ended up pretty convenient. We just took him to the barber in the crate. I don’t get the stares.

She said: This smells bad. I said: It smells fine. 3 hours of Cole hallucinating and running around house muttering “i’m gonna get you uncle Tommy” until he passed out — she was right — the milk had gone bad.
Seems like I say this a lot buddy — my bad.
